IAVM HeadshotDr. Evie Oregon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport and program Coordinator of the Intercollegiate Athletic Administration Graduate Program. Dr. Oregon teaches on campus and online courses, primarily in the areas of intercollegiate athletic administration. Dr. Oregon’s research interests include to athletic identity and identity foreclosure among collegiate athletes, as well as online learning. Dr. Oregon is committed to providing positive sport and exercise experiences for underserved and underrepresented communities through her teaching, service, and scholarship. Dr. Oregon is involved in research projects pertaining to psychological and social factors affecting sport and exercise participation, with emphasis on minority populations and online graduate and certificate learning. Dr. Oregon has worked as a staff member at numerous ACC and Big Ten championship sporting events, along with the NCAA  championships, and constantly leads graduate students to leadership and professional conferences throughout the United States. Dr. Oregon is also a member of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) and has agreed to partner and assist in organizing all the facility tours and seminars. Dr. Oregon’s personal, academic experience, network, and interest make her an adequate contributor to make this annual study away program a success.

brad_stinnettDr. Brad Stinnett serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology,
Recreation and Sport. Dr. Stinnett teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily in the areas of recreation and sport facility planning and management. Dr. Stinnett’s research interests include facility development, sustainability and recreational sports facilities, and facility security management. Dr. Stinnett has nearly 20 years of experience in campus recreation, where he managed a large recreational sport facility prior to becoming a faculty member. Dr. Stinnett has served as a consultant on a number of recreation and sport facility projects, and has worked a variety of sporting events at the local, regional, and national level.
